Pedineo® is a corrective splint that corrects hallux valgus.

  

How to put on the splint? 

• Put on your splint according to this picture

 

 

 

• The splint will pull the big toe towards the outside of the foot to correct it.
• Adjust the splint according to your comfort level, avoid putting too much pressure on your toes while trying to speed up the process.

• You cannot wear the splint with your pair of shoes since it is impossible to pull the big toe outwards if the foot is blocked by a shoe.

How long to wear the splint?

• The goal is to keep the splint as long as possible at home and while you sleep to speed up the correction of hallux valgus.
• The duration of treatment will depend on the progression of the hallux valgus.

How to clean the splint?

• The splint can be cleaned with bleach on the initially white parts (the bands) so that they regain their whiteness. For the parts which are not initially white, it will be necessary to use a cloth with a textile cleaner.
